Trevar Sizemore
PCI Certified Instructor
Trevar is from Ashland, Kentucky and moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky. He played tennis growing up and taught privates and clinics to juniors and adults. He traded in his racquet for a pickleball paddle in 2019 and has been hooked ever since. After playing casually for two weeks, he entered into his first tournament at the 4.5 level... and lost every game. He now has a 5.0+ DUPR and multiple gold medals (and plenty of silver and bronze too) in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, including in APP and PPA tournaments. He has been teaching pickleball since 2020 and enjoys working with people of all ages and skill levels to help

Dan Case
PCI Certified Instructor
Dan the man, Daniel-san, Danny boy...He spent much of childhood living in Kansas and California, but has been in Lexington since 1994, where he went to school at Paul Laurence Dunbar. He grew up playing baseball and basketball, but his main passion was racquetball. He
was the #1 ranked player in Kentucky for 11 years and won 8 State Singles titles and over 20 State Men’s and Mixed Doubles titles. As an AMPRO certified racquetball instructor, he taught all over the state and was on the coaching team for an 8u Junior National Champion out of Louisville. Playing and teaching high level racquetball eventually led to an interest in pickleball in 2016. It wasn’t until the world shut down due to Covid that the conversion from racquetball to pickleball was complete. He has had success up to the 5.0 level, winning medals at various tournaments across the state and has been teaching pickleball since 2021. His ability to teach
the “why” of the sport in addition to the “how” is what makes his lessons so unique and fun.
